With the help of a couple of examples we would like to explain how our Buy-Back-Guarantee and our Hire-Purchase works and what the difference between the two of them is.

We have noted that in many cases in which customers asked about the conditions of a Hire-Purchase, it wasn't the financial aspect they were concerned about, but rather the fact that they didn't want to commit themselves to one instrument right away but needed time to decide.

Some people like to start piano playing and try it out for a while before they definitely know they want to go on. Others prefer to try out an instrument at home over a period of time. That's no problem with us. You don't have to waste any mental energy on the question of how to get rid of the instrument, if you find out later you'd prefer another one. We take it back.

The first step to get a full hold of our special concept we developed for you is to forget everything about the resale value of your instrument any given piano salesman has told you so far, that's mostly monkey business and horseplay, especially if it's about the idea of pianos as an asset or a financial investment.

In fact, it's not easy to sell a piano or grand piano as a private citizen. It'll cost you a lot of time and nerve.

So as a special service for our customers we submit the following attractive proposal:

We offer a Buy-Back-Guarantee within the first 12 months.
If you pay the complete bill at the delivery of your instrument you will get the piano at a favorable price, and compared to the Hire-Purchase at a reduced rate!

Example: Buy-Back-Guarantee

If you want to give your piano back within the first 12 months, we would charge you € 64,60 rent per month an Miete for the model in the example given above. (That equals 2% of the retail price.) Furthermore we'd charge € 300,00 for transport to your chosen home destination and back again from there to us. Finally the tuning we did on your instrument would have to be charged with € 88,00.

For example, if you return the piano after 6 months, you would receive the following money amount:

The probability (spoken statistically), that you want to keep your instrument, is fairly high. And in this case, that you want to stay owner of your piano, you will have acquired ownership to much more favorable price than by hire-purchase!
And the option to exchange the instrument you have chosen at first against an equivalent instrument, e. g. of the same value, or even against one of higher value, is as valid as it is in the case of hire-purchase. You have these options in both cases.

Naturally we also have less expensive pianos as in the example above. The monthly rate in case of Buy-Back will always be calculated with 2% of of the retail price.

Example Hire-Purchase

After that a continuation of your monthly rates is possible, all rates taking fully in account, adding only an annual percentage to the rest of the full price. (The height of the annual interest depends on the length of the renting time. If it is only for a short time 0,0% are possible.)

In effect we deliver a top product to your home the moment you order for no more than the following:

After deliverance you simply pay the monthly rent (EUR 157,80) via standing order from your bank account.

Of course we also offer pianos of reduced rent, starting with € 30,00 per month.

At the moment there is a special offer for a number of smaller models which the German piano house Sauter in Spaichingen is currently presenting the public.
For example, you may rent the piano Lemberg polished in black without advance payment or security deposit for a monthly rate of just 1% of the retail price (€ 6.890,00) for the first 12 months, that amounts to only € 68,90 per month in the first year. Afterwards, from the second year on that is, you may continue monthly payment in combination with certain forms of financing. So you can go "for the real thing" without straining your money bag.

A third possibility in attaining a piano or grand piano is our financing concept with very reasonable interest rates. In this alternative you will have the option of our Buy-Back-Guarantee as well. Subsequently to your Hire-Purchase you may use our financing program for example for another 12 month or even longer.

Our financing-calculator is always available to you. In principle, a short period of financing calls for lesser interest than a longer one.

One should be careful with so called "0,0 % financing", a method we consider to be a little too blatant, because in fact you don't get any sales discount at all.
If you'd buy the Sauter Ragazza and wish to pay off the full retail price over a period of two years, we would calculate on the basis of the recommended price of € 10.520,00 and would offer you a monthly rate of 24 × € 438,33 (constant rate). That is a factual interest rate of 0,0 % in financing because we don't charge any interest at all.
If you wish to settle your bill immediately and pay in cash or check € 9.468,00 (our retail price), then you would receive a sales discount of 10 % compared to the buy-per-rate-bargain.

You probably won't buy pianos as often as you buy new cars, least they last longer, so it is advisable to get at least as good advice as you would on your car.Do contact us.
